The report revealed that International Athlete Sadaf Zohra Zaidi (23) and her sister Shirin Batool(18) were subjected to rape before killing.
The report further revealed that they were forced to take liquid poison and their deaths occurred at 0230 PM on August 13. However, their dead bodies were detected at 0930 PM.
Now, the Police have taken Mansab's son Shan (19) and his friend into custody for interrogation and claimed that they had killed them, but police was lip tightened on the question how could a real brother allow his friend to rape his sisters.
" We thought perhaps it is a case of collective suicide because Khurshid Fatima widow of Mansab Ali Zaidi failed to marry her children Khurshid Raza(32), Sadaf Zohra (23) Shan Mansab (22) and Shirin Batool (18) because of financial constraints but post-mortem report has changed our mind because two young girls were sexually assaulted before death. We have been interrogating Shan Mansab Zaidi and his friends because he was a drug addict and he can do everything," said DPO Muzaffargarh Ahsan Mehboob.
DPO ruled out the possibility of sectarian killing and said that they had been investigating Shan Mansab Zaidi (22)who was away from home when that incident occurred.
However, some Shia leaders and activists were still declaring it a terrorist and sectarian killing. Syed Gulzar Abbas Naqvi, a Shia leader said the possibility of terrorist activity could not be ruled out adding that Mansab Ali was an activist of Shia community.
He said the Police should investigate the case from that aspect. He further said that the family had no enmity in the area.
It may be recalled that four family member of a retired PTCL employee late Mansab Ali Zaidi died mysteriously on Friday night (August 13), by taking poisonous food.
"Three persons Khurshid Fatima (50) wife of Mansab Ali (62), her daughter Sadaf Zohra (22) and Shirin Batool (18) died on the spot after taking poisonous food while her son Shehzada succumbed to poison in Nishtar Hospital, Multan" said DPO Muzaffargarh Ahsan Mehboob.
He said that only one son Shan Mansab remained alive who was away from the home and he did not take the poisonous food. Police have collected the meal.
Sister of Mansab Ali, Saeeda when visited the house found them dead, she raised the noise and called the neighbours for help, who informed the Police of incident.
